Medical Emergencies (Dental Surgeries)
Contact usWe understand that that Dental Surgeries need focused and specific medical training in order to meet their particular standards. So we offer two packages that provide cost effective ways for Dentists to meet their annual Verifiable CPD requirement in the core subject of Medical Emergencies as determined by the General Dental Council (GDC).
Our Medical Emergencies course provides 4 hours of training.
However if your Dental Practice has, or is looking to purchase an AED our AED course (3 hour) provides a module focusing on the use of an AED. Both courses have been specifically managed to meet the GDC’s Verifiable CPD requirements and are in line with the Resuscitation Council guidelines for resuscitation and use of an AED.
The packages meet the criteria for verifiable CPD as stated by the GDC by providing:
Concise educational aims and objectives- Clear anticipated outcomes
- Course evaluation forms as a quality control mechanism
- Certificates that meet GDC Verifiable CPD criteria
Also offered is our HSE approved EFAW one day first aid course
All course packages include:
- Training on a date and time to suit you
- An email reminder at least three months before your expiry date
- Working with you and your team to ensure that you can all react appropriately should an incident occur on your premises by staging simulated incidents
- Updates and/or changes in First Aid or CPR theory
- Advice at the end of a telephone or via email
