Employees in position of responsibility, such as managers and supervisors, and also suitable for caretakers or those with a Fire Marshal role. Successful candidates will understand the causes of fire, and how to prevent it. They will attain a clear knowledge of workplace fire legislation, be able to fulfil the role of a fire warden both on a day-to-day basis and in an emergency, and be able to brief other staff on what their responsibilities are.
UnderstandingCandidates will sit a multiple choice examination. This is a CIEH accredited course. Each successful participant will receive a nationally recognised certificate of competence from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
